My kids attended at the 2nd day of the Kawasaki Kids Sceince Challenge.My son tried to control a robot with PC. He programmed the actions of the robot, and then he sent the data to the robot. The robot acted on the data he programmed.
My daughter joined at the rest experiences she did not yesterday. She made a wax form of her finger, a kareidoscope, experienced to make a color chemically, and watched a science magic show.
In addition, a robot competition by high schools in Kawasaki was held at the same place. The cometition was "Robot Curling". One team had three robots. The robot stopped at the center of the squre as close as possible could get higher point. The robot could went away other team's robots. All robots had to stop in one minutes. It's interesting.
