An Inconvenient Truth: The Crisis of Global Warming and What We Can Do About It

We might beleve it'd be no problem on Global Warming during our lives. We have to live with the inconvenience more such as no personal cars, no air conditioners, no bright lights and less air planes. Our children have to live in the 100 years ago's lifestyle.

Rafting Race: Kawasaki Eco Cup

My son's team built a rafting boat one month ago, and the rafting race "Kawasaki Eco Cup" is held on the Tamagawa River today. However, the boat was  not allowed to entry because the boat was out of a regulation that one adult must be able to get on the boat. It's too floaty...

The ladies' Japanese drum team sound a fanfare.

Principles of Leadership

This book tells me essences of leaderships from 24 books written by the famous enterneuers in both USA and Japan. I favorite Matsushita, Iacocca, Ford and Honda.
I understand the essence is not changed. Every business must think of customers, employees, shareholders and enviroments. If a businness focus only limited area, the business will not continue though it can get large profits shortly. I still have a lot of learning about business.

How Japanese English Sounds to Native Speakers

Have you listened any Japanese English? Their English has much different accents, many mistakes and strange phrases. Many Japanese would not be sure how their English sounds to other country people. I recommend this book, and Japanese should learn speaking English more.

Siberian Railroad

I knew the Siberian Railroad when I watched the TV program in 1982. This author took the Siberian railroad in 2005. The travel would be much easier than 25 years ago, but it's very incovenient to travel because travellers must submit their flights, trains and hotlels to the Russia authority. Even though it's not necessary to travel in China. However, the long train travel for 9300 km would be intersting.

Guide Book for Elevators in Japan

This book is the first guide for elevators in Japan. I've seen so nice elevators recently. I like elevators with the Bloomberg TV.
This book also tells how to cancel the floor button of elevators. You should click double or click for a long time.
However, I strongly want to say that any other newest Japanese elevators must learn the system of waiting on the 1st floor in USA. Any passenger can't control to close the door on the 1st floor. It's a very fair system.

AIRBUS 380

This book told the different strategy of EADS from Boeing and the development story.
I'm interested in the maximum number of airplane. The max number would be 1000 because if a large airplane could have more than 1000 passengers. It would take much longer time to get on and off if airports were not changed.
However, my friend have took A-380 already. He said it's not different from any other kinds of airplanes as far as he seated on the economy class.

Horse Beef Restaurant "Takeshi"

I met with old colleagues at a horse beef restaurant last night.
Some people don't eat horse beef, but I like it. I like the raw horse beef especially. Some people don't believe it. they say "Gosh".
I can understand their thought, because I also said "Gosh" when I knew some Chinese people eat dogs and cats... "GOSH!"
BUT I like raw horse beef. It's delicious. It's really!

Once Upon A Time Tokyu Lines

I've lived in Musashi-Kosugi for 12 years. I do not know the history of the Tokyu Line well. This book tell me the history.
There were 3 stations in Musashi-Kosugi about 60 years ago. The stations were "Musashi-Kosugi", "Ground-Mae (in-front-of the ground)" and "Kogyo-Toshi (Factory Town)".
The Shibuya station had only one platform 80 years ago.
There are many, many stories on the Tokyu Line. They are really interesting.

Google Chrome

Google finally launched their own browser "Google Chrome". I read some articles on the performance of the browser, but I suppose Google would have wanted to blow the whistle on the other browsers. Google gets their own platform for Google applications, especially Google Documents.
Google will improve the response time and rich functions on Google Documents. Google must target on Microsoft Office for real.
I became Chrome soon, and I chose my standard browser in 1 minute after installing. It's really quick!!
However, my favorites function on Chrome does not synchronize with Google Bookmark!!!

2626UDON

I found a Udon noodle shop "Tsuru Tsuru Udon" near the Musashi-Shinjo sation. "Tsuru Tsuru" means smooth and good solid to eat. I tried a simple Udon, but the noodle was boiled too much. The noodle was too soft. I don't recommend the shop.
I am picky about the Udon noodle, because my hometown is a famous place of the Udon noodle.

Meguro Saury Festival

Japanese people loves to eat a broiled saury with salt in the Autumn. The saury festival has been held in Meguro for 13 years, because a famous comic story "Meguro's Saury (Meguro-no-Sanma)" has been told for about 300 years.
I read an article that the festival committe prepared about 6000 sauries this year. My family wants to go to the festival and eat the free saury. My wife preapred rice in the lunch boxes. My family left my home at 9:30am, and arrived at 10am...

I started standing on this long line at 10:16am near the Gotanda station.

I could see the smoke at 12:09pm at this corner at last.

Broiling 6000 sauries!

Smoke, Smoke, Smoke!

I could eat this delicious saury at 12:50pm near the Meguro station....

My family goes to swim at the Azuma Health & Sports Center after the festival, and we buys delicious cakes of the Quil Fait Bon in Daikanyama as usual.
