National Science Museum

I and My kids attended at  a tour of the local kids association. We went to the National Science Museum. All exhibitions of the museum was available. We could watch the 360 theater. It's amazing. I could experience to see the earth from the space on the theater.

Education in the Azabu-Gakuen School

Some famous alumni talked how to educate in the Azabu-Gakuen school. The alumni recommended the school. The school doesn't force anything to students except their accountability for their freedom.

Almost all famous schools in Japan force to learn for the entrance examination. The old-fashioned style couldn't bring large successes in the global competitions even if our kids could win in our local area.

I've heard it from alumni of other famous school in Kagoshima that their teachers didn't teach how to pass the entrance examination. Their teachers taught the reasons why the teachers were enjoying their own subjects. The students could understand the essentials or principles to learn, and they started to study the subjects by themselves. It's a real education in the school, I think.

The 7th Domitory Song Festival of my university was held today. This festival has been held for 7 years.　I love the domitory songs. The songs has been compsed for over 100 years!!

There are many walls in the world. This author researched some walls on this book. He has his own blog. Many people say that we'd be on changing the world, and the change is not small, we can change by ourselves or not.

I'd like to enjoy some discussions like him.

Extraordinary Circumstances

This author was an internal audit of the WorldCom. She is a vice president. This book tells what the people in the WorldCom talked and discussed. It's very interesting. Especially, The current circumstance would be worse than that time.
In the financial institutions of the States and UK, what did the upper managements talk? I could know the parts. However, I was the IT stuff only. I was not the position to know the talking. After this case, some sever regulations have been imposed, but any strict regulations could not protect societies and companies from the people with the real bad faith.

Whatever you think, think the opposite.

If you have read any other books of Drucker, you don't need it. You could read this book for 10 minutes in a book store. It doesn't meant this book would be worth to buy. However, you could be impressed with some key words and photos on this book.

Today is my birthday. My mother told that it had been snowy at 12:15.

IT Textbook vol.2

Almost all IT guys don't seem that project plans would be important for the product. However, it means that allmost all IT guys couldn't understand managing their firm and their client's business. I suppose that the time when IT indutory must deliver on time comes. The IT companies which  has the ability to estimate and develop high quality products could survive in the future as the history of other industories if there would not be any epok-makings that every companies can develop on time.

 I'm interested in Reona Ezaki. He adddressed it'd be important for babies to educate thier character until 2 years old.

Kids learn langauges and arithmetics in the school, but their characters would be built until 2 years old. "Don't pass over bad manners even if they're still babies".

In addition, You could know the inside story at the time of Sony's foundation. The Ibuka family handed the equities as a guaranties for the Sony's debt loan. Morita said they looked worthless paper at that time.

Kids Craft Class: 3D Map

My kids made the 3D map of the Kawasaki city at the kids craft class in the Kawasaki Museum. I also enjoyed the 3D map of my mother area when I went to the primary school.

I could recognize the geography of my city. Especially, the maximum altitude is about 100 meter  (330 ft.).

The crazy article was submitted again on WSJ.com. How many women do walk around Tokyo? They are very minority. How terrible!
The Wall Street Jounal believes these a minor case, doesn't it? I suspect the conscience of the WSJ.

If you're working for a financial institution, you'd have heard the BASEL II Accord. Especially, if you belong to a pricing team or a risk team, you've already understood the accord well.

If you're interested in the accord or the risk management in the financial institutions or other industry, I recommend this book. This book covers from the capital requirements to the operational risk. I could understand the risk management under the accord has to cover the wider area.

I also recommend this book even if you're not working for any financial services because your company should have to consider the risk management. This book tells how to measure many kinds of risks.

Principles to Produce Big Hits

This book is very simple. It'd not be worth to buy this book. It would take about 15 minutes to finish reading in a book shop.

I learnt the accounting basis when I was a freshman in my first company. It's very, very convenient for me to work and live everywhere. I appreciate the planner of the freshman training. I suggest very student should learn the accounting basis in the school. Everybody need the accounting basis in order to live.

Learn the Earth History with Google Earth

The Goofgle Earth and Map is really convenient. I simulate my route with the Google Earth and Map before I go to a place where I haven't been. However I was not sure that some scientists, especially geographers also use them in order to preview the searching places. The Google brings huge profits to human beings.

Edelpils

I hate low-malt beers. The Sapporo Beer has focused on the low-malt beers for about 10 years. I haven't bought the low-malt beers and the Sapporo Beer though I was a Sapporo Beer fan. The Sapporo Beer doesn't seem to pay the research to improve the average or premiere beers. The Sappror Beer's tastes has become lower relatively. I become a fan of the Suntory Beer because The Suntory Beer has sold 100% malt beers. Especially, My opinion is that the Suntory Premiere Malt is the best beer in Japan.

However, I buy this beer "Edelpils" of the Sappro Beer. It's tasty! The Sapporo Beer still has the ability to produce premiere beers. But the Sappror Beer stopped producing the beer already...

Many people take care of their own health recently. The quantity to dring alchole has decreased. The people drink beers less times. I suppose almost all people choose better beers. Actually, the Sapporo Beer's share is the last position in Japan...

Ito's Lemma

Kiyoshi Ito passed away on November 10th. If you've worked for financial products, especially derivatives, you could have heard his name at least. He found out the Ito's lemma. The lemma was based on the Black-Sholes Formula. The formula was caused the largest revolution on the financial business. We're living now and we'll also live in the uncertain futures. Especially, the financial investors and brokers had traded with their experiences, senses and simple graphs or charts only. However, the formula brought the science and engineering knowledges to the financial trading.

I hoped he could win the Nobel Prize in Economics as the first Japanese. It's really a shame...

All about A380

The current trend is the ecology technology. However I feel the future from large technologies. One of them must be A380. Everybody would want to take the premier seat like a private room.

There are no lines in Japan. If I want, I have to transfer to Singapore and go to Australia.. It's so expensive!

Though this book is a paperback, there are many pictures on this book. I was surprized really when I saw a photo that there would be a convenience store in A-380...

Planet Google

If you have read some books on Google, you don't have to, because this book tells Google's history, technologies and minds. If you haven't, I recommend this book.
However This book doesn't tell Google deeply. There are no technical topics for engineers or programmers. In addition, there are no ideas on Google's futures. The contents have only analyses on the past and current circumstances.

Beginners for Labor Law

This book explain some cases to get fired in Japan. However, it seems very common. I don't believe this book could be worth to read.

Suggestions that Tokyo Becomes The No.1 Financial Center

This book was written before the financial crisis in September 2008. If this book was written now, the result would be different.

I also think there are many large barriers in Japan, but the strategies how Tokyo becomes the top financial center would be changed. Tokyo is not only for foreigners but also for Japanese. If we Japanese prefer the Tokyo market, why could foreigners choose?

Jounalist's Method to Improve Your English

This book is very useful to improve my English. This author is not a linguist but a journalist. He has learnt to improve his English. I believe the most important thing would be to consider methods to improve my English by myself again and again.

The "Daily Mustle Training" is very helpful to improve my pronunciation.

There is a custom "Shichi-Go-San" to celebrate for 3-Years-Old Girl, 5-Years-Old Boy and 7-Years-Old Girl in Japan. My parents-in -law and our family celebrated my daughter for the 7-years-old girl at a local shrine.

I went to a movie "Precure" with my daughter in the Kawasaki Cinecitta. She's looked forward to watching the movie which is popular in girls in Japan since this summer. There are many girls in the theater actually. She was satisfied with the movie and small presents of a card and a small light.

President-Elect Barack Obama

Obama was elected. I have focused on this election for about 1 year. I've been interested in the goodness of the States, whether the people could elect the person "Barack Obama" or not.

There are a lot of goodness in the States. The people doesn't give up the worse circumstances in the USA and the world.

In addition, I've learnt many things from the new president. Especially, it's very important to keep gentle, natural and logical under hard situations.

A Class with Drucker

There are many good explanations for the great Drucker's words by the first graduate of the executive business class of Drucker. I always get the fresh impression when I read the Drucker's books. Almost all knowledge workers would not be interested in their salaries. This author explains the reasons on this book. One example of them is about an American football team in a college.
The college players work for team without any payments under the dangerous situation though coaches always complain, but they don't quit the team and they have much royalties. The situation is very similar with the great company. I completely agree with Drucker.

JAPAN COAST GUARD

Japan has the 6th largest sea area in the world, but the number of members of the Japan Coast Guard is only 12,000. The number of police in Japan is 200,000 though the land is small. In addtion, there are some problems on the sea around Japan. The JGC will have more difficult missions as same as the JSF.

Contrivance to Change Our Team

What's a contrivance to change our team? This author declares it's human relationships.

In the past, members go to drink together in Japan, but there have been less chances to drink together. I wonder the most reason would be longer and longer extended working hours without any payments. Especially business persons on the associate or junior class would seem so. They don't want to spend more time for companies without any additional payments.

However, I feel some junior business persons have stronger professional spirits than senior. I want to build my team with these business persons.

CSR

The Corporate Social Responsibility has been focused very much globally since the Enron Case and the WorldCom & Anderseb Case, but the financial crisis happens. I don't imagine it'd be important for the corporate responsibility to be implosed on any strict rules regulations such as SOX or new Accountant Rules because there has been many corporate scandals in the world. I suggest to reexamine laws to strict penalizations as Isramic laws and educate moral would be key points.
