The Athletic Festival was held in my kids' school. It's fine and hot! My kids got in races and mass-dance. My son's team of the cavalry battle won against four teams!
I love the large ball game, but I had not done this ball game in my school.

Louvre Exhibition
My family went to the Louvre Exhibition of the National Museum of Western Art in Ueno because I've got a free ticket for stock holders. My daughter was interested in the famous paintings because she likes a painting class in school. When I arrived at 1pm, the waiting time was about 60 minutes to enter. There were so crowded, because the National Museum is much smaller than the Louvre...
The paintings are not only so great but also tells lifestyles at that time.
There are about 70 famous paintings which are rented from the Louvre. I've been in the Louvre, but I forget watching them because I had the trip 18 years ago and the Louvre is so large.

Memorial Ceremony
My family gathered at my parent's home in order to hold the 50th memorial ceremony, who were my uncles & aunts, brother, sister in law and nephews. It's a large ceremony.
I and my son called for a priest in the Ryojyo-ji Temple where was built about 1200 years ago. It's really an old temple.

Kyoto in the Leafy Month of May
I have never been in Kyoto of the leafy month of May. There is really so beautiful in this season, too. My family visited the Sanjyu-sangen-do temple, the Kiyomizu-dera temple, the Kodai-ji temple, the Yasaka shrine, the Maruyama park, the Chion-in temple, the Zenrin-ji temple, the Nanzan-ji temple and the Heian-jingu shrine on foot. We got on a bus for the Ginkaku-ji temple & the Tetsugaku-No-Michi path and the Kinkaku-ji temple.
My kids were really impressed with their first trip to Kyoto.

Outdoor Cooking in the Showa Kinen Koen Park
My family went to go to the Showa Kinen Koen Park because the park was free today, and we enjoyed the outdoor cooking in the BBQ area in the park. Many groups enjoy BBQ, too. We tried to cook
- Cream Risotto with Mushed Green Beans
- Broiled Pork with Tomato & Onion & Basil Sauce
- Mushed Potato mixed with Cod Ovum
They were very delicious. Especially, my kids said "Umai! (Delicious)" again and again.

Shellfish Gathering
My family went to the Higashi-Koen Park in the Higashi-Ogishima yeaterday, and we tried to gather shellfishes on the beach. The sizes of shellfishes were still small. We released the shellfishes before our leaving.
It's still chilly to do outdoor, but we could enjoy this Spring.

Shizuoka
My family had a trip to Shizuoka with the one day's free pass of local trains. It was rainy in the early morning, but the weather recovered. We enjoyed the great Sushi Donburi, sweet & fresh strawberry in the farm and the Shizuoka Oden, and we were impressed with the great view of Mt. Fuji and the Shogun's temple "Kunouzan-Toshogu".

Selecting Photos for the First Grade's Memories
My daughter selected her photo during her first school from last April because her teacher ordered it to her class in order to craft the first grade's memories. I like the first photo that my daughter shook hands with her teacher on her first day.

Fossil Hunt
My wife and my son joined into a fossil hunting by the Kawasaki Science Museum. I submitted the hunting tour, but I caught cold and I gave up the tour.
They climbed the Masugata-Yama and went into the Tamagawa river side. They hunted some fossils of shells. I wanted to join the tour...

Tips for Couple
My wife brought this book to me. There are some tips for couple.
Prohibited:
- Don't go to bed until your husband is back to home.
- To cook what your husband like but you dislike.
- To believe your husband's promises.
... and so on.
It's funny. As far as I see the prohibitions, my wife has been already clever. :)

Ski 3rd day
My son has been able to ski without any supports since 2006. My daughter has just started skiing on this trip but she can go down on the beginner course without any supports after my only 2 hours lesson. I will be allowed to ski freely without supporting my kids soon.

Ski 2nd Day
It's not snowy, but still cloudy, and there are much snow. The ski condition was very good yesterday but I coud not sometimes see anything by heavy snow. However, I and my family enjoyed skiing very much.
It's the first time for my daughter to ski. She can not still get on any lifts, and so I had to coach her skiing. I could only go down the ski courses 10 times a day....Photos

New Year Card Contest 2009 @ Apple Shibuya
My son submitted into the New Year Card Contest 2009 at the Apple Shibuya Store. He enjoyed the contest though he didn't win. The first prize's card which a lady of a pastry cook made was so nice. She put some cows which were made from chocolate on her picture. She got the iPod nano 8GB.
I and my son watched the large mural "Asu-no-Shinwa (Tomorrow's Myth) " of Taro Okamoto in the Shibuya Station.
