MRJ is "Mitsubishi Regional Jet". The Mitsubishi Heavy Industrial is developing this new jet. MRJ will be a middle jet for 80-100 passengers.Honda will also launch HondaJet. HondaJet is a personal set for 4-6 passengers. HondaJet is very popular and about 100 HondaJet has been ordered.

Before WWII, the aviation industry in Japan was one of the top countries, but GHQ banned Japan to have the aviation industry. Japan developed only one plane YS-11 after WWII. YS-11 had good characters of qualities and maintenance ability, but YS-11 failed on business.
MRJ would also have some possibilities of losing on business, but Mitsubishi decided to develop MRJ because it's the last chance to develop a middle-class jet. I hope MRJ to suceed as a Japanese.
