Possibility of Journalism in Japan

One of the severest problems in Japan would be the quality of journalism. There are not good news shows or newspapers in Japan. I quitted to buy any Japanese newspapers, and I've bought online newspapers in USA. Japanese news shows are so bored because 90% of news are local and the contents are only information or critical comments. Japanese newspapers are very thin, which the newspapaers have only 10 pages for news or information. In addition, there are many many advertisements, but they're so expensive. The average monthly fares are about 40 US$. I pay only 90 US$ as the yearly fare for WSJ.com.
There are not any good journalisms, there are not any good democrats.
