Lilliput is the first island of the Gulliver's Travels.
Two Japanese philosophers Kiyokazu Washida and Tatsuru Uchida discussed Japan as the Lilliput. The Japanese has built up this country to be able to run without grown people.
Everybody complains who establish such a terrible society though the society has been built by ourselves.
Both philosophers also mentioned almost all Japanese would misunderstand "free speech". Some politicians and journalists doesn't say "free speech" is allowed in Japan. But it's allowed completely. Both defined "free speech" is a place to disscuss with deep respects.
